This walk trail takes users across the Merredin Peak granite outcrop. The trail passes the storage 'tank' of the catchment, and then alongside the granite lined flume which directs water from the catchment into the tank. Crossing over a short bridge, the trail then heads uphill towards the top of one of the peaks of the granite outcrop from where magnificent 360 degree views can be had. The trail then heads downhill and along the granite walls of the catchment before returning through bushland to the trailhead parking area. Numerous interpretive panels are located along the trail, which is marked by steel directional markers.
