the trail doesn't have proper signboards as the entire Yarra bend seems to be distributed into thematic enclosures without a connected feel to the place. the trail is also polluted by the noise for M3 traffic for one entire length of the park while some parts appeared very touristy and congested. Also A significant section of the trail is shared with cyclists and that causes a bit of annoyance really.

Nice trail walk, not difficult just uneven in parts so wear proper shoes. Tranquil surrounds and a bat colony to view which was pretty cool.

This is a great trail in the heart of Melbourne! It is a great place to see nature especially the hordes of flying foxes and bird life with the occasional wallaby. Lots of nesting parrots and sometimes black cockatoos! Parts of the track are washed out so you might need to be a bit creative scrambling over some rocks and missing patches while finding the track but well worth it. Great city find for us who might not have a car. Recommend wearing good shoes for some of the scrambling though.

I didn’t realise no dogs were allowed, so was a bit of a surprise when we got there with a dog! Apart from that set back, was a lovely walk. The stream was also beautiful.

Amazingly beautiful trail. A few parts of the trail are closed off but we bravely ventured through. Some rocky, slippery spots so wear good shoes! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice if you want to get out and don’t mind the sounds of roads and city (second part). First part was pretty. It’s nice to go early so you can listen to the sounds of the birds.

Nice easy walk or bike track that’s near the city along the Yarra. Great breather from the CBD. Stop into Collingwood Children’s farm, easy walk for kids also.

It was an amazing walk in the trail. Unfortunately at some point the trail is closed and I had to turn around and come back the same way I came from. But I certainly do not regret. The bats area is amazing... something unexpected for me (not done a great search in preparation to this walk). I will certainly come back to walk the other route I missed.

Full immersion into nature - but just on the outskirts of the city! Full reception and felt very secure. Went off track and stumbled across Collingwood children’s farm and stopped for coffee. The flying fox sanctuary was a highlight. A lovely day out

Not bad, went after heavy rain so it was a bit muddy. A few.parts have been closed due to flood damage but can be easily navigated around. Nice to have some rougher terrain within the city and would be great for trail running on a warmer day.
