Easy out and back to the beautiful Squeaky Beach. The flies are worth putting up with to feel this unique granite sand beneath your feet. The surf is a bit rough as the water gets squeezed by the narrows of the rocks on both sides. You can walk on the rocks to the south as you make your way down to the beach from the hill from the camp area. Flies were a major pain so wear a hat and fan them away as you walk. Great views of both Norman Beach and Squeaky Beach as you make your way up and down the shallow inclines on both sides. Dig for water in the soft sand or get buried in it will make your and your comrades day.

Good steady walking without any major uphill stretches. it was 60 -70kph winds so currents on beach were strong.

Great walk from Tidal River. Beach is lovely but there are a lot of blue bottle jellyfish (Portuguese man o' war) along the shore. Definitely wouldn’t recommend swimming or even taking your shoes off by the water currently unless you want a nasty sting.

This was a lovely trail to squeaky beach, then back along Tidal River to campsite. We drove a car to the Lilly Pilly trail carpark and started there. You could walk back to the car at the end instead of straight to camp if you need to get it. This route was nicer than heading straight to squeaky beach and back from the campsite as this way starts by going up the hill and affording some beautiful views of both Squeaky Beach and Nelson Beach at the start. Overall a nice easy walk, which I managed fine with my dodgy knee (so pretty much anyone should be able to do it).
