This little trail is easy to miss with the trailhead tucked down a slope from the East end of the bridge that crosses Grey River. You immediately enter into lush forest with an abundance of Ponga Fern Trees and towering eucalyptus trees, many covered with fern and moss epiphytes. The trail leads to a "lookout" though there is not much to see through lush forest and, truly, the lookout is not the appeal of the trail, but the walk itself. About 1/3 of the way to the lookout a side-trail option takes you to the river (really more of a stream). Several of the eucalyptus trees on along this trail are immense and impressive. The beauty of this trail is gaining what feels like hundreds of miles apart from civilisation and a "jungle" experience after walking just several feet.
