MacKenzie Falls is the most visited waterfall in Grampians National Park, Victoria in the south eastern portion of Australia. Come early to avoid the crowds! If you wish to extend your hike you can continue along the MacKenzie River.

Amazing view! Best waterfalls I have been to since New Zealand. Highly recommend. Only a short, easy walk to the bottom of the falls, definitely a steep ascent back up but an easy manageable distance.

Easy walk from carpark and can take the 260 steps down to the base of the falls which is well worth it

Beautiful, but not really a hike.

Absolutely loved it! Such gorgeous views. Steep stairs but it was so worth it. Quite a busy place

Quite busy area. Heaps of safety guardrail in place. if your looking for a quite hidden waterfall area. this is not the place.

Easy walk to the magnificent falls. Not stroller friendly with quite a few steps to navigate. Clean flush toilets at the start. A must do in the Grampians.

Quite busy even on a coolish weekday outside of school holidays - but gorgeous waterfalls with heaps of flow despite it being only mid autumn. This is more a short stair climb than a hike! I’d advise continuing on to Fish falls or Zumsteins for a fun hike through the gorge.

Easy way down, steep stairway. Spectacular photo oops at the base of the waterfall. We packed lunch and snacks, chilled at the base for a couple hours before heading back up.

Probably the waterfall to see if your down this way. We ended up walking further to fish falls and back again on an empty stomach and no water which was stupid... I struggled getting back to the car as it all uphill from the waterfall. I’d Def come back here :) Only shit thing was seeing empty bottles and a dirty nappy left out here. People are cunts really and should be taking their shit with them.

Lovely waterfall with lots of water following from it even in summer. As walking down to the falls it is abit of a heat trap. Also very busy so I would head here early to miss the crowds

Drive only 3 hours from home to the Grampian, first walking trial to Mackenzie Falls walking down 1,9km to the bottom of waterfall. Easy. But walking back up to the top no so easy nearly killing me, but never give up. Tomorrow we will find another trial, Burrong Falls, Mount Rosea Track

Worth a look if you're in the area .. easy walk down however walk back up to the car park requires some effort. Easily accessed and the Falls look great.

Really good walk. Do yourself a favour and walk the whole valley to Zumsteins. It would be a waste just to look at the falls and stop there. Pretty easy walk if you take your time but could be turned into a challenge with a bit of speed.
