As an experienced hiker a more moderate track with great views and sights. Can be very windy. Slippery when wet. Hiking or running shoes are needed.

Great trail, best done anti clockwise, much easier coming down all the mesh steps after reaching Pinnacle lookout although met quite a few people coming up that way.

much better than the simple pinnacle trail, there was lots of traffic but the views were well worth it. also we got lost a couple times, thanks to this app, we we're able to wing it back on track. bring water, food and a decent pair of shoes. would recommend going counter clockwise.

AWESOME track! Takes a lot of energy out to you for that short distance, but so worth the views at the top.

My spouse and I had a blast climbing the pinnacle a few years ago. It was beautiful but misty and rainy. The views and natural beauty were awesome. I slipped a three or four times on the way down and wished my hiking boots had better traction.

hard but worth the view

Great views from the top, and a variety of landscapes on the way up. Going along a creek at one point, then along the canyons of the Grand Canyon and Silent Street, and exposed rocky expanses at the top. There are lots of steps, some quite high, so you do need a reasonable level of fitness. Definitely worth the climb, though.

Would recommend hiking this trail counter clockwise starting in Halls Gap. The trail itself is neither very demanding nor technically difficult—suitable even for children. There are actually an awful lot of stairs; all slightly steep sections are secured by steel rails. Hike can easily be extended by another 1.5 km by taking a right turn where it says “2.2 km to Pinnacles” instead of taking the “0.7 km” option (which is the one marked on this map); I would recommend to take the longer option. Lots of people go to Pinnacles from the Wonderland Parking Lot—so part of the hike is rather busy.

lotsa steps and amazing views!!!

My Garmin picked it up as 8.2km, 535m elevation gain. LOTS of stairs. I’d rate it harder than the 1000 steps.

The best and the toughest one, such a beautiful view over the Halls Gap and surroundings.

Great walk with views of the flat agricultural lands and the valley and reservoir below. (Views are similar to those at Boroka if you can’t quite make the walk). Nothing too streneous, moderate rating is appropriate for this walk. Path is easily marked out with arrows along the way.
