Actually close to 110km all up. did this hike solo over 3.5days at xmas, just booked every 2nd campsite and pushed on. lots of snakes (5) on my 3rd day. the beach exit from milanesia beach to ryans den alt route is extremely overgrown and not safe to attempt because of possible snake bites.

WOW. good walk with varied vistas and environments. good facilities - water was clean and the drop dunnies had plenty of paper. well spaced camps though can/should do the first 4 days in 2. recommended though the weather was poor for the duration of my walk

Very well signposted and maintained. We walked the trail over 7 days, with a good drop halfway. Such luxury! Campgrounds were clean and (for us at least) quiet. Stunning scenery, surprising views, wildlife...the GOW has it all. Can recommend

I loved this walk. You walk through trees for a while then come out the the cliffs overlooking the sea. It is beautiful. April is a great time to do it.

I started at Apollo Bay and hiked the full 8 days. Was great besides there not being a lot of signage to tell you if you were still hiking the right track and how much further until the next camp ground. Also I ended up camping two nights with school groups which made the grounds loud and crowded. Otherwise the track itself is beautiful with great views.

Completed the trail in four days of rain and wind and still caught some awesome views. Amazing part of the world!

there is a good booklet for the walk for about A$15 that you can buy in Apollo Bay which shows the low tide options if you want to explore some of the beaches and rock platforms. Most of this walk is fantastic but there are a couple of boring bits too that go inland on dirt roads. Great that you see so few people until you get close to The 12 Apostles. If you don't want to camp there is a local company called Walk91 who will transport you off and on the track. Would recommend 6 days but we did it in 5 days. It is very doable in 5 days but felt that there wasn't enough time to explore on two days or rest over lunch.

We did the 100km in 2 days for charity. It includes some really lovely views especially on the first 20-30km. Some beautiful scenic bays to stop if you have the time! Would highly recommend, but maybe over a few more days if you have the time!

Completed track ( 104 km) in 6 days and 5 nights. The GOW signs and numbers are useful. Mobile signal was not too bad and in all camping sides water tanks were full and well conserved. I saw a lot animals and all scenery was fantastic. I had a negative experience between Blanket Bay to Aire River as I stopped to buy a cold drink at lighthouse shop but the shop attendant was impolite toward me. Also after Johanna’s beach camping side there are few gates that must be kept locked, after last gate please be careful as there are a few wild kangaroos in the area. Please note that at this part of the track I was chased away by a male kangaroo who wanted kick and scratch me. I ended up running and strategically jumping out of lane seeking a place to hide in the bush until big fella moved away. I really enjoyed the last leg of the track, I highly recommend to stop at small village close to Riverlock. At this village there is a great a cafe shop and this may be an opportunity to have a cup of latte so you can reach twelve apostles fully charged. Have fun!

This walk is beautiful. Plenty of different terrains which include beach walking, sand, rocks, wood platforms, bushland etc. I suggest you put this one on your bucket list
