good challenging trail run, suggest you follow the dangean trail all the way down and then back which is around 9.2klm's. don't drift down to the shoreline trail as there is very little to run on and it is quite soft and difficult to find a pathway back onto the running trail

This is the most confusingly marked trail I have ever been on. You start one trail and don’t see another sign for a very long time. When you do, it’s actually for another trail. There is simply not enough signage and when there is it will be pointing in both directions with nothing written about which one to take of how many kms so there is no way to work out which direction is the correct one. I actually became terribly and dangerously lost and at one point ended up at a dead end which had a gate and was forced to walk on the road not knowing where I was. I ended up traversing the reservoir on the road which was dusty and also dangerous. No I do not recommend this trail

Catch drain trail is exactly as awful as it sounds. To close the loop around the reservoir, you walk for at least an hour on flyblown grass next to a ditch. I don’t recommend it.
