Fantastic 7 mile loop. We recommend starting with the lookout and getting the elevation and crowds over with first. It was crowded up at the top, but we saw almost no one on the backside and enjoyed the minimal elevation and changing landscape.
Hiked in April and the weather was mild with a few very brief showers. Took us a little over three hours at a moderate pace with few stops. A lot of wallabies and beautiful views.
Great views of the Freycinet Peninsula. Wineglass Bay Lookout has a nice view. Once you get up and over the lookout (~1.5mi), trail is pretty flat the rest of the way.
Quite a hard hike but very beautiful and the view is worth it!
This walk showcases some of the best beaches I've seen. Best done on a sunny day to let the colours fully come through. The walk can be done in around 4hrs but take lunch and take the day to enjoy the beaches. My favourite was the west end of Hazard beach. Beautiful sand and rocks to swim from.
