Strenuous but rewarding. A great view from the top.

An easy walk with pleasant views. A spot I visit regularly. Good basic walk with toilet, BBQ and seating facilities.

First to Review

This is a very nice track for a walk and a picnic, or for a tourist who wants a good walk in a civilized bush setting. There are a lot of locals using it for daily walking and jogging exercise. A couple of hills give a bit of a challenge. There are a couple of off the main track bushwalks as well according to a local. It has all amenities including toilets, picnic tables, bbq's, good parking, kids swings, well maintained track and signage. It has a unique fishing area for the disabled. Gates close at 1630hr (4:30pm). There are some kangaroos/wallabies to be seen, and various birds. The fir trees around the reservoir give way to gums. While it's not a challenging full-on bush walk, and definitely not isolated, it is pleasant and worth a go, especially for families and mixed age groups.
