Enjoyed it. Completed in about 3.5 hours. Crazy weather. Sunny at the start. Snowing at the top. Trail well marked. Red markers going up. Yellow markers going down. Large rock crossing involved which is a bit tricky. Only part of the track not well marked.

We had great winter conditions, was only slightly muddy and icy at the top. We did the trip well under the 5hr parks estimate but we’re pretty confident on the rocks and the good weather helped too

I've done quite a few treks here in Tasmania and I've loved almost all of them thanks to proper research before each adventure. the journey: knowing what to expect plays a vital role in the outcome of this journey, so prepare for a walk through a thick rainforest a rocky, challenging mid and a thigh burning finish up a moderately steep boulder drop. all in all its going to give the casual hiker a bit of a hard time but it's not impossible to accomplish and the end result is worth every calorie burnt. navigation: before setting out I had a read about the markers and how it's easy to lose track of them, this is accurate it's pretty easy to lose track of a marker and veer off into other paths that look like previously hiked tracks.but this is no reason not to do this walk, like any other trek if you pay enough attention to you're surroundings you'll be fine. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS APP FOR NAVIGATION AND ETA. time to complete: took us about 4 hours all up.....we took our time :D parking: location provided by this app was highly accurate for parking and locating start point.

Need to be really mindful of the track markers, it’s very easy to get off trail in the bush above the first big rock scramble if you miss one. Tough but fun track.

Hiking

Hiked in November. Was amazing. Climb through some big rocks then a beautiful walk through the bush to the top. One of the best hikes I've done!

Pretty steep at parts but a fun walk. I got a bit lost climbing the rocky bit so just make sure you keep an eye on the markers!

Simply awesome! Short but spicy hike through the first, over boulders and onto the mountain top.

Hiked in April, the weather was perfect, about 4 degrees, clear skies and almost no wind. I completed in about 3 hrs 30 min at a pretty relaxed pace. There are two sections where you are scrambling\bouldering which are fun. Views from the top are spectacular!
