Great walk, was my first hike in Tasmania. The gate is locked now so can't park near the farm house as mentioned in the 100 walks in Tasmania book. There is alittle parking spot right near the gate that 1 car can use and still be out of the way else there is parking on the main road north of the turn off.

There was a team doing track work towards the end. They are creating rock steps just before the saddle towards the summit.
