An amazing walk, with short fun sections of rock scrambling. Incredible views from the half way point right to the top! Track can be slippery, with both mud and exposed rocks.

Absolutely...incredible. On a cloudy or foggy day the scenery is absolutely amazing. This hike is NOT moderate however with some rope climb and rock scramble sections. Getting halfway gives you amazing views of a lake nestled on the side of the mountain as well as lakes and mountain ranges on the horizon. Amazing.

Awesome track, but as previous reviewers noted honoustly hard, not moderate. It is 5k up, so total of 10k. It took us 3,5 hours to get up and down. The view was real good and peaceful.

2nd time we’ve done this trail now and it’s the best short hike in Tasmania in my opinion! Amazing views a must do!!

Great hike- stunning views, took 5 hours return including a few breaks along the way at a leisurely pace. Sections of the walk are very challenging involving rock climbs, steep cliffs and a rickety rope climb section. I would not say it is suitable for a dog whatsoever. The track markings particularly on the return are unclear and sporadic- there's a few old track sections that are easy to stray onto. The views are breathtaking.

In my opinion this has the one of the best views in Tasmania and for a short walk under 5hours is Absolutely epic. There’s a pull off on the Hwy. and the track starts about 50m walk down the hwy. Steep and constant but oh so good!

This is a great walk although is certainly a harder and more dangerous track than that of Quamby Bluff, considering there are rope sections and places where you walk close to some highly dangerous cliffs. May I suggest the grading this walk be upgrade to hard as it is not a walk I would be encouraging inexperienced walkers to attempt.

Tough climb to the summit but awesome views across to the peaks of The Overland Track. Spectacular views looking south and west also. One section near the top is not for the faint hearted as the track is narrow and the drop long and sheer. Very rewarding walk and highly recommended.

The 360 degree views from the top are stupendous! Steep climb and challenging bare cliff edge track at places, not a track for faint hearted!

Beautiful scenery. Hard walk.

Absolutely incredible place but wouldn't recommend for the average walker as it is quite steep most of the way up and on the approach to the summit can be quite dangerous. The on the other side of the ridge line is a 300m cliff so please be careful. At times sections of the track can be very easy to lose so pay attention to where you come and go. Other than that some of the most stunnung views of the overland track.
