Mount Amos provides incredible panoramic views of Cole's Bay and Wineglass Bay. This track is very technical and involves a lot of rock scrambling. Make sure to have good footwear and do not attempt this trek in the rain due to the rocks being very slippery.

Absolutely Incredible, you really need some good shoes though as the rocks are steep and quite smooth.

Definitely worth it but by god it is a bit of a scramble at some points. Definitely not to do in wet conditions. Took us 3hrs 15mins return we are moderately fit and took our time. Shoes with good grip would go along way. Exhilarating!

Stunning views... not for the faint hearted. A lot of scramble up steep inclines 80% virtually. Its super dodge in the wet even in the dry you need really good shoes. If you are unsure I say go for it as it is worth it.

Definitely check with the Visitor Center before heading on this climb/hike, you definitely can’t do this in wet conditions, but for all the wind, scrambling and scrapes, this is an incredible trail with an unreal summit. Worth every moment of it and then some! Side note, much easier to come down than you think, but would highly recommend proper hiking boots of ankle height.

We did this trail when it was still somewhat wet. We could not make it to the top completely as it became very slippery. Good grip shoes and dry conditions are essential.

une magnifique rando! faire attention car très glissant et fortement déconseillée par temps mouillé car tout simplement impraticable et dangereuse! splendide vu tout le long ainsi qu'au sommet!

The view over Wineglass Bay is prettier than the touristic short walk. Less crowded and a fun challenge to get to the top. But be aware that the track had to be dry because it will be too slippery after rain.

Really fun and exhilarating. It begins as a walk, quite steep and rough floor. Gradually turns into full on scramble over rock faces on all fours. Yellow arrows to show you the way as it’s otherwise not obvious. Can be very windy as it’s very exposed. Definitely don’t do if it’s wet or raining. We just wore regular trainers which were fine, grip is important though. Would recommend padded gloves for the way down, as you have to use your upper body a lot to lower yourself over/through the rocks and they can be spikey at times. My friend and I are fairly fit and it took us 2.5 hours return, included a few stops and about 20 mins for photos at the top

Definitely have good hiking shoes for this one. Don’t attempt in the rain. Epic sunrise here. Ascended from car park to peak in 45m, 1.5hr total return trip. Data point for reasonably fit folks!

Awesome hike! Plenty of scrambles and rocks to climb with epic views at the top. I would not recommend this if there is any chance of rain as the path would become almost impassable and slick. Even without substantial hiking shoes this is doable if you're sure footed!

Awesome hike. Very steep, would only recommend hiking it in good dry conditions. The view at the top is worth the climb.
