enjoyed walking this trail to the falls. The out and back trail's quality is eclectic, with some well maintained sections and oddly messy sections. There are some steep parts that are quite difficult to climb up and descend safely. The trails is marked with red out and yellow back arrows, but it can be difficult at times to locate the next marker and to stay on the right track. There are lots of myrtle beech trees along the way. The falls and cliffs make a spectacular destination.

Great alternative if you want more of a challenge and changing terrains. I recommend starting with the split rock track as that section is harder and then it’s a nice walk back from the falls. It will probably take you longer that you expect due to the big rocky section. If your gonna be at the falls during the day and have good weather pack some lunch and chill at the base of Meander falls as it is amazing! Have a swim in the Little Rock pools! So good! Awesome hike!!! Enjoy!

really nice trail thought the tree and along the river. ends at the base of the falls were you can either keep going on anouther trail or turn back. I attempted to cross the river and come back via the rockslide but it started raining and I would.have run out of daylight so turned back. wear long pants due to some low spiky shrubs!

A more challenging walk than is made out to be. Sign said 4.5-6hr return, completed in 3hrs.

Very poorly marked. Done the Split Rock Track and was very keen to continue on to the falls. Didn't realize we had to go back and follow a different trail to do so. Followed the red arrows for 2 hours and ended up in a massive expanse of rock with a random red arrow pointing ahead and no other ones to follow. Turned around and came back too exhausted to continue to the falls where we should have turned. Hard and challenging hike and even though we never got to our destination we would definitely come back and try again. Do recommend reading your map well beforehand

This walk is much harder than it sounds on paper. It is very rocky for almost the whole walk and some steep rocky climbs. It is also poorly marked and very often you need to retrace your steps to find the correct way. Having said that you do get spectacular views of the surrounding escarpments and the falls themselves are very impressive.
