Extremely windy and deep snow. Decided to turn back 60m before the summit as conditions were worsening. We made the first tracks up to the where we turned around though!

Really nice summit walk pretty rough weather but nice shelter at the car park to warm up in afterwards, rock scramble completes the walk to the top.

In good weather this walk has amazing views and is a moderate walk. There are some steep challenging sections but these a short. Make sure you are prepared for conditions to worsen quickly. We were lucky as we had clear blue sky for the whole walk. The walk track in some section is currently under some construction but this is no problem. There is some rock steps to steadily climb towards the top. The view is worth it!

Beautiful summer wildflowers along the way, including stunning waratah. A few people had a swim in Ladies Tarn...

Great hike. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow. If your moderately fit and don’t mind a Little Rock hiking at the end section then should be pretty easy hike! However I recommend bringing some good all weather gear as can get very windy and rainy and super cold. Best to be prepared as it ended up being a white out and wind and rain was consistent. We were fine but ended bailing on the snowy peak as we could not see and the wind gusts were pumping so turned back. Still thoroughly enjoyed it though.
