An enchanting walk from the Wilmot Road / Gentle Annie Hill to an open field with a table for picnics ! A few challenges can be encountered, climbing a roped wall is one. Take note of the extreme flood damage from 2010/2011. Parking is about 700m from the Wilmot River bridge, and the track is about 20m up the road, over the fence.

Really nice trail to relax and not worry about difficult terrain. Peaceful strolling along the riverside and so much to see in the bush. Well marked once on the track, but I wasn’t sure I was in the correct place as there is no indication of the actual location and start of the track. But I suppose that helps to keep the track from being overrun.

Beautiful riverside track - signs on the track are good but it was hard to find as the signage on the ‘car park’ and at the start of the track was not great. Also the name Lucy’s Track is ( I think ) named for a favourite dog which made me happy to think of a little pooch having fun on the track. Picnic table under cover was appreciated for our turn around spot .

Great to hear Briony and family loved it! The Wilmot River is running high due to work on the Lake Gairdner dam which may not be complete until Spring 2020. The dam spills a lot, but it has been very healthy for the river. It means that our crossings to the Dooley track on the west side are impassable.

We did this today with two dogs and three kids (6,4,3). The track is in great condition and well sign posted. The river was especially beautiful after the recent rain and there was plenty of unusual fungi to be found. We had a great afternoon on this walk.
