My favorite walk in the GC hinterland. So many waterfalls! So much green!

Waterfalls are in full force right now after the rains. Beautiful and moderately challenging hike, highly recommended! Finished in 4 hours (stopped so much to observe the animals - skinks, rock wallabies, python etc. and plants!) only passed one person. Creek crossings can be challenging in high flow, but there is always a way across. Perfection minus the post rain leeches!

Couldn’t have asked for more, perfect day. Out of the two falls only one had water but still found a couple of small spots for a dip before coming to the ‘meeting of the waters’ around the halfway mark. Beautiful spot for lunch and a break. Trail gets a little hard to follow at times but nothing to concerning, a little bit of rock scrambling and walking at heights to keep you feeling adventurous. Went clockwise and got a bit gruelling around the 8km mark coming back up the steep incline but for anyone with a decent level of fitness it is doable. Definitely want to take plenty of water and snacks, swimmers too if you plan to go all the way down. Tonnes of wildlife, beautiful views and deep nature. Great track!

Great trail. Would be even better had there been some rain leading up to it, as there are many waterfalls sections. Nice rockpool to have a dip around halfway! Not too difficult considering the distance.

Beautiful hike. Multiple waterfalls and creek crossings along the way. Fairly easy walk travelling anti-clockwise with a long zigzag uphill (not too steep) at the end. We went on a rainy day and ran into lots of leeches. The signs say it’s 17km. My tracker tracks it at around 14-15km. This is my favourite Springbrook hike.

What a fantastic hike with beautiful sounds, views and an overall amazing experience. My favourite so far!!

Great walk, mostly covered shaded, so was relatively cool throughout. Distance about 12.6km, completed in about 3hrs 30 mins, at a steady pace, and stops to enjoy the many waterfalls. What was unique about the walk, was the great cave / tunnel sections, and the number of waterfalls. Did the walk in late October so not much running water. Great 'city break' walk.

A truely amazing trail! Continuous narrow track winding its way across rock faces, deep forest and waterfalls. Walked it in Mid October so bot a lot of moving water but still spectacular. There are a few cave like tunnel sections. Recorded it as 14.7km on the app and on my Garmin. 3hr 20min walking around steady pace and taking stops at all the waterfalls. This one should be on your to do list!

Outstanding trail through Gondwana rainforest and past at least 11 waterfalls or cascades

Great walk. Clockwise from the picnic area gives you a great finish with the waterfalls and the track grade is flatter. Allow 4 1\2 hours with stops.

Great hike! Absolutely beautiful scenery, huge boulders and trees and lots of waterfalls! I didn’t realise before arriving that the trail starts with the descent then you have the walk up in the second half of the loop. It wasn’t steep so not an issue but not a “view at the top” hike. Took me pretty much exactly 4 hours. I didn’t walk extremely quickly but it wasn’t a stroll. It came up on my Garmin as 16.5km when I followed the All Trails route and songs exactly. Felt comfortable walking this as a young female. Really well signed / obvious routes. It was only challenging because of the length, but I didn’t find any parts overly steep or precarious! Would definitely do this walk again!! Great for the soul

Great trail, good workout but manageable. Lots of waterfalls and creeks to look at along the walk. Great rainforest/bushy environment!

I recommend going anti clockwise to be away from humans as much as possible. Definitely not 17km as stated at the store. Took us 4 hours with plenty of breaks.

Highly recommend it. My favourite trail so far... has all the elements: caves, views, deep forest, so many waterfalls and good path. Best time to go is early morning sunrise.

Beautiful track. Nothing too challenging and clearly distinguishable tracks although we managed to get distracted and loose it once but getting back wasn't too hard.

Great hike through the rain forest, over rocky creek crossings under and behind waterfalls and beside pretty mountain streams. Not too hard and reasonably well signed. Is actually 17 kms not 12.9,and took us a nice leisurely 5 hours with plenty of stops for pics and rests.

Track is well and truly reopened. Waterfalls are in full force. Lots of wow-factor, especially if you add the Twin Falls Circuit to it. Did it with 2 kids (7 + 13) in tow. Took just under 6 hrs with a 40 min break for lunch, and several short stops along the way. Highly recommend.

Great hike, virtually no traffic. A number of small obstacles however pretty straight forward.
