Uphill for about the first kilometre through very pleasant bushland vegetation. The view from rock platform is absolutely stunning and worth the climb. The signage can be limited to be prepared to navigate as needed. When you get to a crossroads with a ‘road’ and the trail leads forward, take the road as it’s gravelly and wide while being uneven, but leads back to Danbulla Road. The trail that leads straight ahead takes you through the scrub, with a myriad of trails leading off this main trail. The walk back along the road to the car was very pleasant with gorgeous views of the dam. For a simpler option, walk to the lookout and return back the same way you came.

This is the only circuit maintained by National Parks. The one called just "Torpedo Bay Circuit" is currently overgrown with knee high grass which i imagine is snake country

Parked at the Scout camp and walked 100m back to the trailhead. Very scenic trail with multiple beautiful lookout points. Some slippery loose gravel and uphill climbs so be careful. Signage is sporadic - a few forks in the track so I recommend checking All Trails as you go. There's two very faded mud maps that allude to other walks in the area. I did this as a circuit having to walk a ~km back up the road; I'd recommend just turning around at the rock lookout (pink tape marks it) and coming back down the same way. Best part was the swim at Tinaroo at the end!

Beautiful morning with perfect weather. We walked the Torpedo Bay loop. Uphill for about the first kilometre through very pretty bishland. The view from the rock was absolutely stunning. We took the wrong turn on the way back down as signage is limited. When you get to a crossroads with a ‘road’ and the trail leads forward, take the road! It’s gravelly and wide while being uneven, but leads back to Danbulla Rd. The trail that leads straight ahead takes you through the scrub, with a miriade of trails leading off this main trail. We turned around after about a kilometre of following this trail as it just kept going with no apparent end. The walk back along the road to the car was very pleasant with gorgeous views of the dam. Next time I do this trail (and I will do it again) I would walk to the lookout and then retrace my steps going back the way I came.
