Be prepared for a burn on the way up.! I started at the top, the clay soils get a little slippery, so I’d suggest a pole or at least grab a solid stick. Took just over an hour to get down, then continued to gorge falls. Saw only 1 other hiker, and a couple who were going the wrong way to the falls. Very nice hike with changes of vegetation, canopy provides great sun cover, but humidity keeps the sweat going. 1 hr 25 to get back to the top from the stairs, with a good pace, and all uphill. Saw 1 blue tongued lizard, and a 1m python near the creek. Would do it again. Only go solo if you have good sense of direction, experienced and bring plenty of water.

I started on the steep side at the end of Tallebudgera Creek Road, I would say it’s very steep and tricky but you can drive to Springbrook Road, right to the end and park. There are on,y toilets at the top. You need tick and leech cream, and most importantly your permit as you will be crossing into private property. It took me about an hour to get to the top and 40 mins to get back, don’t go during or before heavy rain, the clay hills are too slippery. I went by myself but if you inexperienced then suggest you go with a friend. If your looking for views, this is not the track except at the top. It’s thick trail with heavy canopy. I took a video to help. https://youtu.be/fBncIa6RBRs

I actually wasn’t overly impressed with this track Lots of slogging up hill to reach a waterfall that I have driven to and had a picnic at lots of times before .. not really any views worth mentioning other than the said waterfall at the end (Springbrook) it was great for the challenge and to tick it off my list but wouldn’t do it again

Great track. Challenging hike and a little wet and overgrown in places, but totally worth it! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful trail. Certainly challenging at times as it’s a push from the valley floor to the top of Springbrook, but makes the views that much more worth it. Pretty well marked, a few spots that you have to use your better judgement as there’s bound to down trees and brush over the trail in such a densely vegged area. Push past the apparent trail end at the top and make your way a bit further down to the car park and have yourself a well deserved lunch. Lace up tight on the way back down and have a dip in a the creek off the trail to the right of the beginning of the stairs. Well worth it. Took about 4 hours up and back at a pretty leisurely pace.

Really enjoyed this challenging hike. Very thick rain forest. We'll marked track but do not venture onto the private property tracks. The locals are not very friendly. Uphill all the way to the falls and down on the way back.

Accidentally did this track today, starting at the springbrook side, was a lovely walk down with some wicked view, majority of the way back up from the creek was a lung burner!

great trail. tough enough to make it a decent walk, but easy enough to bring children (7yrs+) ans the waterfall at springbrook makes it a nice place to stop at the top and have something to eat

Running

Finally did the cream track! It has been on the list for years. We thought it was going to be basically a steep fire trail run but it goes through twists and turns in a fun bush setting. It is a super hike with solid elevation. The creek down the bottom was excellent for a dip after. The change in flora is cool and looking through the trees to the cliff faces and into the valleys is always beautiful. It is a hard track but luckily quite short. Watch the slippery rocks at the creek crossings down the bottom.
