Springbrook Pinnacle Loop is a 9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Springbrook, Queensland, Australia that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round.
This is an adventurous walk through beautiful lush forest. When you get off the Warrie Circuit, the track is fairly overgrown in places but it is still pretty easy to walk through. Climbing the rocky Pinnacle outcrop is fun and has some steep sections to get your heart pumping and you'll be rewarded with some great views. Be prepared for some occasional scrambles!
Very nice walk. When you get off warrie circuit track is a bit overgrown in places but there are not many vines so it’s pretty easy to walk through. Climbing the rocky pinnacle outcrop was fun with some steep sections to get your heart pumping. Views up the top are incredible! Highly recommend this one if your up for a bit of scrambling and bashing through the bush!
Absolutely gorgeous track, the scenery, waterfalls and wildlife blew me away. Definitely worth the small detours for any waterfalls, as well as ‘the meeting of waters’ about midway. Amazing. Edit: I should mention I didn’t complete the pinnacle out and back track off the Warrie Circuit. I made it half way and turned back when the flora was up past my waist. It could get better if you tough it out.
Lovely trail, quite dense once you veer off to the pinnacle track. After about an hour of walking the warrior circuit on the right, look out for the bunch of big trees and fallen tree which marks the beginning of the pinnacle track. Follow the pink/orange ribbons till you get to the pinnacle. Climb straight up the first scramble you see to get to the top! Definitely take a snack and water. Lovely trail & climb. (We only did the pinnacle track, not the warrior circuit as well).
What an adventure, it was quite muddy today but once you are off the Warrie circuit trail it is very easy to get lost.. there are a few pink ribbons marking the track but not enough to save me from 30 minutes of wondering around :).. I recommend if you do this hike download maps.me. The final short climb to the peak isn’t easy but the view is amazing, also recommend wearing pants otherwise you end up with 100s of cuts and bleeding legs like me when you finally find your way back out. Overall amazing hike.
