Mixture of fire trails, hiking tracks and sealed paths. Lots of shade Completed the walk after several weeks of rain which had the creeks and falls running.

Run/walk. Not much water around but particularly enjoyed the loop at the top, would love to see it flowing.

No owls spotted, but sure was powerful..! Simpson Falls is always nice, and does get busier on weekend afternoons.

The incline and rubble was worth the pain ... once you hit the loop the track is amazing

Be prepared for a 265m incline at the start, pretty hectic if you are average fitness, but possible. During dry season the Simpsons Falls are just big rocks but there is a city view on the bridge. Completed in 2 hrs, 766 cals burnt, 9x stair climbers about 12700 steps! Get on it!

First to Review

Recommend for people that want to walk as exercise. Lots of nice ups and downs, nothing too hard. Only the first km is rough, the uphill will for sure give a nice heart rate. The trail itself was mostly wide. Some times really rocky and loose, especially coming down from the hill at the end, be careful! My watch showed that we walked 7,3km in total and that took 2h and 10mins, walked rather slower. Saw 36 people in that time, mostly at the end and in the beginning, wouldn’t say it’s much traffic for that length.
