Pat's Bluff and Python Rock Lookout is a 3.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near O'Reilly, Queensland, Australia that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.
Beautiful walk to Python Rock, all under a canopy. The walk to Pat’s Bluff is more rugged and you need to scramble down/up rocks. Gorgeous views beyond the boulders at the top.
Path was good to lookout. Views spectacular, but cloudy and very windy. We also went to Pat's Bluff. turn off to that is just past waypoint to lookout. Turn left at T junction. is a grade 3 & 4, rough trail. over, under, around trees etc
Super easy. Took an hour with lots of photos along the way and a long time spent at the lookout.
Python lookout is great but it’s worth the extra walk get to Pat’s Bluff. The trail is not marked out as well but you can follow it alright. Make sure to go all the way to the top of the rocks for a beautiful 180 degree view. Easy walk and Pats Bluff is not as heavily trafficked.
