Good Trail but has a couple of boulder sections. also its sandstone so wear grippy shoes or go barefoot for best result! The first boulder is the worst for steepness.

I have always been afraid of heights and climbing mountains but I pushed my physically and mentally to tackle this beast. I had an experienced climber assisting me for this which helped greatly. Like the other comments say, don't take a big heavy bag and wear some grippy shoes. Always beware of falling rocks!

This is not a moderate climb for most of the mountain. To put it plan and simple it’s a bastard of a climb. Heaps of foot and hand holes but still need to be careful. Take a camel sack because you need both hands. Rewarding view at the top

Did this as my first climbing trail. Not too difficult. Awesome views.

Great climb up with exposed scramble and rock climb for the first part. I would only recommend to experienced hikers who know their limits and enjoy a challenge. First time I did this we met someone who broke their ankle doing this climb, and you can see how it'd be easy to fall in places.

WOW! That was no joke. Not a long hike, but easily one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever done. The “chicken wall” scared my boyfriend off so I left him there and kept going, what an adrenaline rush! Highly recommended, but don’t underestimate the challenge.

Great rock scramble with views at the top overlooking Bribie Island and Moreton Island. Quite exposed on a hott day so bring water. If this isn't enough for one day there's always Mt Beerwah nearby.

Fantastic hike- but practically a rock climb scramble. I would be weary of the "moderate" rating for inexperienced hikers, but for those with experience you're not likely to get puffed. Be safe!

I loved it and treated a girlfriend to the walk for her 40th Bday. But we both had moments of real fear. I think it would be prudent to point out there have been a number of deaths and many air-lifted rescues annually because the rock climbing elements are challenging, slippery and unforgiving with even the slightest mis-step. A small, regular day-pack on your back pulls you off balance on rock faces. Experienced, strong hikers would find this walk moderate. Because of this climbing/scrambling on the sheer face and safety aspect only, it should rated HARD not moderate when it is among “hike” suggestions. Preparation and knowledge is always key to making your personal choice about which hiking trails to do so you don’t become a casualty. Hope this helps.

Definitely for hikers with a lil rock climbing/scrambling experience. Has some small but easy rock climbing sections the walk its self is easy and has some great views! hardest part would be coming down the rock climbing parts. highly recommend.

If it’s your first time up here then make sure it’s dry. I do not recommend even if had a light sprinkle of rain unless you are a confident climber / scrambler. Is gets slippery real quick.

One of my favourites in the glasshouse mountains. A great all body workout, you’ll need yours hands and feet equally so take a back pack for water / keys etc... beautiful for sunrise too.

loved it can't wait to go again. it's got several climbing bits but they're short with wide ledges so you don't ever really find yourself looking down into the abyss!

Awesome challenge if you're not scared of heights and have some rock scrambling experience.
