Really lovely well-marked trail. Gentle undulations on a wide track for first 500m before the rocky steeper climb. Busy with lots of lookouts near the top. Quite a few little tracks up at the top to see views on the east and west sides. Gorgeous views!

Walking

Pretty nice track. Relatively easy and well maintained, but some sections with loose rocks under foot. Definitely can get busy and congested particularly at this time of the year, so definitely try to go earlier. Very nice outlook over the Maroochy River, farmlands and towards Coolum and the ocean.

HikingGreat!

lots of wildlife and fauna, fantastic views from the well built viewing platforms. Steep climb up but worth it for the views, not long enough for me though but good for a short walk, sign says 3 hours but it only takes an hour with a few rests.

Walking

Great little walk with amazing views. Recommend the west lookout before the east look out. Unfortunately, because it's dog friendly, you will have to dodge the "land mines"

It's a good hike but has had a lot of work done to it in recent years. You're allowed to take dogs up there ON LEAD but few bother. Most let their dogs roam off lead while the dog owner hangs the lead around their neck. Beware if your is not dog friendly. The Ninderry locals thinks it is their mountain so dislike all the improvements being done which draws even more people there now. Best to go in the mornings before the families jam up the path with whiny kids. Good track I just wish people would keep dogs on leads to protect the wildlife and other walkers and clean up the dog poo.

Awesome hike, not much traffic, absolutely disgusted by the amount of dog poo that is left in the middle and sides of the walking track by irresponsible pet owners!!!

Hiking

Short hike up the mountain. Path up the hill consisted of gravel/ dirt path and stairs, some rocky patches to be careful of if travelling with anyone who has slipping concerns on uneven ground. Was fairly busy on the weekends lots of dogs. Most had cleaned up after them but still had to be careful in points where you step . Overall fairly easy and simple track, if looking for a shorter alternative to Mount Coolum

Bit rocky and rough at points if you have weak knees or ankles but otherwise a nice little walk.

Beautiful hike with stunning views from the various lookouts at the top. Starts by winding down a saddle then the path narrows up some steep rocky terrain to flatten at the top
