Very well maintained, as most bits are hardpacked dirt. Very few rutted areas, and all major trail crossings are signposted. There is a rainwater tank at the Scrub Road junction as well as the Center Road junction. There are only three pinches that would be considered steep. The rest of the trail is a long and rolling climb towards Mt Nebo, and the downhill back into The Gap is great because you can carry all momentum on a mountain bike.

Main track is very wide and well kept, take township break and come around the back of Nebo for an extra challenge, you'll come across a nice creek and the bottom of township break to make it worth your while. Can easily turn this into a 2 days hike with a camp over. Trail is nice with lots of wild ginger growing along the south boundary road on the latter half of the walk. Views are generally obstructed but you're in nature non-the-less. Gave me plenty of time to think about my break up, oh Morgan why did you leave me? I still don't understand... If anyone finds a key ring with a bottle opener and a Camry key on it please email me at segrovets at live.com. lost it on this trail.

Well maintained track, steady incline fire trail almost all the way to the cafe. Turn left at the crosspath at around 21km or you will have to walk along the road for a km or so to get to the cafe, which is quite unsafe. Not overly picturesque but a good fitness trail.
