Mount Joyce Fire Trail is a 4.1 mile out and back trail located near Wyaralong, Queensland, Australia that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and running.
First 15km was an easy hike, quite flat and a great track. Once you take the turn to meet the ridge track it gets hard very quick. Is a steep walk for about 4km and there are no tracks. I kept the barbed wire on my left heading over the ridge and stayed on track. If you enjoy bush walking through the scrub and steep incline you will love this track otherwise I would recommend an out and back.
Prepare to get really sweaty as there’s not much tree coverage. Also, there’s a lot of flies that bother you along the track which can get really annoying! It also gets steep at parts so you’ll might slip with bad shoes
