Description

Starts out straight forward but gradually gets more difficult as the dirt trail turns to rock and the path becomes steeper. The chain helps but hands and good shoes are also necessary. Well worth the effort.

Nice walk from the town. Good steep incline with man made steps and very light scrambling. 30mins up and 12 down on a hot day.

Two sharp turns and 3-4 kms of gravel road to reach the trail. There are no public toilets or public water taps around so come prepared. There is a small park right across the trail and a car park ahead. It is a beautiful shady trail fully marked with signs all the way. The hike is easy compared to Mt Beerwah. Yet you need some sort fitness and upper body strength to reach at the summit. The ascent is full of fun with scrambling, little bit of climbing and hiking. Timing is important. It is best to start early or later in the day. Full 360 degree view when you reach up top. Happy hiking Adventure is out there

Great trail. Fairly easy climb in comparison to scrambles like Tibrogargen. Beautiful views.

WalkingGreat!Rocky

Nice wide, well made path with steps in many areas. Steep and challenging- but plenty of areas to stop and rest if you need. Pretty short and steep. Took us 30mins to get to the top, with a halt midway to chat to a 74 year old local. Rewarded with an amazing view and fresh breeze at the top.

I loved this hike, it was steep in a few parts and there’s chain at the top but it wasn’t too hard & the beautiful views from the top are totally worth the climb up :-)

Absolutely one of my favourites. Today I caught the sunrise from the top. Short but definitely a good leg workout.

This was one of my new favorite hikes. From only really starting out hiking since June this year, this was a nice challenge with lots of constant scrambling up. Recommend wearing proper hiking shoes for grip. It’s a straight forward in and out hike. Lots of signage. When you get to the top, keep going along the top ridge to see the views from the look outs on both sides of the mountain. It’s got a fair bit of foot traffic but it’s heaps of fun. It says hard on here, and with a basic level of fitness, I’d say this was more moderate.

Easy to find, well signposted and maintained. A more difficult climb requiring a decent level of fitness. Forest flats and stairs lead to steeper rocks sections closer to the peak - chain handrails provided here. Spectacular views!!!

Great views from multiple points towards the top. Steep climb in sections with scrambling. Chains make it easy work. Definitely worth a go! Very popular trail

Great walk! Short but really tough. Steep and uphill from the beginning. Last part was the toughest! Definitely coming back.
