This is a moderate hard walk following the border rabbit proof fence. While the track is open and clear most of the way apart from patches of raspberry bush near the top, the last 1.5 km is very steep ie. 30 - 40 degrees in very loose volcanic soil and leaves. Two steps forward, one slide back. No views on top but a small view window just before the top.
