My 7yr old son and I did this hike from Gap Creek Reserve and had no idea it went to the top of Channel 9 on Mt Coot-tha. It was a fantastic workout and very scenic up and back down again!

This loop should not be rated easy. it's a combination of easy and hard grades. while some sections are very flat, the last kilometer was very steep (estimate at least 40°) if you chose to go counter clockwise, there's no way for young kids or elderlies to complete this "easy" loop. Still an enjoyable walk though, just that wife and I had to drive 20 mins around the mountain to pick up the kids and grand parents from the Gaps Creek Reserve, who couldn't continue on the second half.

A pretty walk with steep start and finish. Lots of birdsong (esp the cockatoos!). While it’s mostly an easy walk the Kokoda section is a killer to go up! Signage isn’t amazing but reasonably easy to follow - use the app if you need. NOTE signage says Kokoda section will be closed for maintenance late March to late April 2020.

very pretty walk. make sure you look at the map and follow the right trail because some points you can get lost. Kokoda trail is very very steep and killed my 12 year old niece but it was an awesome work out

Good trail. Nice and steep at the end for a good leg stretch. Lots of walkers and mountain bike riders on the weekend.

It's a pleasant walk through the scrub to the picnic area then a climb up a dirt road mountain. App was handy to see where to go as not enough signage in places.
