Clear well travelled path. It’s a relatively steady climb all the way up. It is considerably well shaded, but I would still recommend going early morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the high heat. Great view at the end, it’s interesting to see the vegetation change as you ascend. Saw two monitor lizards :)

Started from Chapel Hill side. Pretty steep trail and a good workout. There're signboards leading the way at intersections (honeyeater, reservoir, summit lookout etc). Halfway through, we got caught in the thunderstorm rain & stopped by at a bench to wait the rain out. Managed to hike up to summit lookout & returned using the same route (which is different from the map in here).

Hike was horribly signed. The track from the map is not what is signed as honeyeater trail. The first 600m is but then the map sends you to the reservoir trail. This trail is not easy. 30 degree up hill chunks that you would not want to do with average fitness. I think this trail needs another look as it is not what it says. According to my fit bit, we climbed 75 floors on this trail.

A bit of a steep climb at parts but a great workout

This trail is good by the fact that it skirts some suburban development takes the “aura” out of the nature walk. The ascending part is steep & it’s a great workout for the legs. The rest of the trail is great for walking & enjoyable.

Family hike. Kids struggled a little with the steep sections. Average scenery.

It was alright, probably won’t do it again. Slipped a few times on the steep gravel parts and we kept having to check the map due to intersecting trails and poor signage. The end part was nice tho.
