Currently CLOSED for timber walkway maintenance and repairs. We (and many others) walked it anyway and there were only a few timber boards lying on the walkway so actually perfectly safe. A really nice easy walk and my 3 and 7 year old enjoyed it. We parked on Browns Road however there really isn’t much parking down there (maybe 10 spots along the whole road) so check it first and then go back to the main road or Maiala instead.

Beautiful scenery the whole walk and not too challenging. The view at the end isn’t spectacular like some but the views the whole way make up for it. Definitely one of my favourites!

Pretty good trail. Officially opened today (23/5/20) and the Maiala Day use area is a nice picnic spot. Lots of beautiful big strangler figs and birds on the trail. We did the trail toward the end of the day. It takes about 2 hours and it was 9 degrees.. definitely take a jumper! Unfortunately there was not much water at the falls themselves but it was okay because we could do some rock scrambling to the edge of the falls.

Very much OPEN. Not closed at all, no signs at the start of the trail to say it is closed. Entrance is currently from Browns Rd, as the picnic area and Maiala Car Park and day use area is closed to refurbishment. There is a painted sign on the fence surround the day use area directing you to Browns Rd, and the walks. I did the falls track, and the rain forest loop. I was the first person there this morning. Lots of birds and wildlife for the early raisers to see. Droves of people arriving as I was leaving

Nice easy hike in a lush forest, main entry is closed for upgrading day-use area, but there is a road leading into the middle of it where you can do it from! Very Easy one!

Beautiful surrounds and easy walk for the whole family. Plenty of wildlife also. Sadly no water to be seen but that’s expected. Will definitely do this one again

Went with a 6 and 10 year old, no probs - a bit muddy in small sections after the recent rain, otherwise a pleasant easy walk.

Easy gentle circuit. It’s been so dry, the waterfall doesn’t have much to look at. However, plenty of chances of spotting wildlife. Great walk especially in summer as it’s nice and cool in the rain forest.

This was well worth the drive from Brisbane CBD (about 1 hour). The trails are well maintained but I guess the amount of people walking the trail would help. It’s well covered with high canopies & great opportunities to stop & view the environment. Very easy to complete with little inclines assisted with steps & wooden walkways.

A nice easy trail with clear paths and raised wooden sections. There is also plenty of trees so you’re never really hit by the sun. That makes it comfortable during the hotter months. I ended up doing the Grove Trail also so the walk was a little longer. Overall it was very nice.

Great hike with the kids, easy & entertaining for them. The weather was about 8 deg cooler than home so enjoyed the cooler weather. Busy little place, parking was packed.
