It has been reported this trail has a temporary closure due to COVID-19. Please see the park's website for up to date information. A great trail with some good hills and bird life. Be careful coming down some of the looser dry soil and rocks. Only really one good photo opportunity but fantastic local bush to immerse yourself in. Great places for bird spotting along the water’s edge.

Great trail slightly longer then listed but loved it quite easy with slight inclines and very popular!

Definitely reopened! Excellent walk. Steep incline to start with but then flattens our a bit with a few uphill/downhill sections. Beautiful walk and you can walk down to the edge of the reservoir at certain sections. Highly recommend.

05 April 2020 - This track was closed due to Covid-19 restrictions this morning; it's otherwise a good distance loop for a family of four to do.

A bit unclear, signage needs to be better. Felt a lot longer than 4.8 kms... maybe I did it twice Overgrown in parts. Nice and scenic over reservoir. A lovely drive through Brookfield to get here.

Completed the walk this morning. Certainly not a busy track like most others in the Brisbane area. I was the only one in the carpark and didn't see a soul during the entire walk. The river is currently flooded and you will need to cross at the start using the bridge about 100 metres to the North. Then follow the track around the face of the dam past the temporary closure sign. The track was quite unkempt and I appeared to be the only person to walk it today and probably in the last few days. There were hundreds of spider webs across the track, tip - get someone else to walk in front! When you get to the fork with the wild pigs sign, keep right. Other than that, it's quite an easy walk but will get your heart pumping. I completed it in about 80 minutes without pushing very fast.

Good track took us about 1.5hrs. Signage not very good and missing at many forks. Nearly stood on a green snake!

Nice trail - Completed Anti-clockwise hilly at start not a lot of shade, reservoir isn’t visible for most of it till near end. Not signed the best. A few trees down over pathways.

Great walk, did it anti clockwise as suggested. Good advice.

Very nice walk, I did jogging and running , is a very good workout, also to stay disconnected from daily city life!! Beautiful birds song, and nice view of the reserve, you stay most of the time cover by trees, so doesn’t matter what time of the day you go, sun it won’t be hitting bad on you

Nice scenic trail. The first half (If you go right from the start) is rather narrow & has a number of shallow dips & sharp rises, so is no good for running. The 2nd half is much more flat & wide & has a nice view of the reservoir.

Would be great for trail running or early morning hike. View of the water for most of the way around with the occasional dip and brief steep slippery incline.

Headed off at 6.30am just as the sun was rising. The information board said it was a 3 hour hike, but we figured that was the higher circuit. When we got to the junction we took the lower less defined track. The walk is manageable for people of low to moderate fitness with a few hills throughout. Track was overgrown in places and with a lot of lantana in others, but the track is clear to follow. We were back at the car at 8.15am. The Apple Watch clocked 6km, 9000 steps and 46 flights climbed. A great walk with good view of the dam at the beginning and end.

Lovely, wild loop around the reservoir. Was more steep and overgrown than expected but we really enjoyed it - did almost stand on a snake though. Lots of birds and flowers to look at on the way round.

Windy (? As in wind? As In meandering... Are those words spelt the same?) narrow well marked track. Alot of lantana but quite nice for the brief hour half walk. Walked late April, great weather.

This was a great trail with some good hills but be careful coming down some of the looser dry soil & rocks. Only really one good photo opportunity but fantastic local bush to immerse yourself in. Great places for bird spotting along the water’s edge. At a good pace, it shouldn’t take more than 1.5hrs.

Great place, really enjoyed the hike. Took around 1.5hrs and a few steep hills that got the blood pumping. Plenty of bird life.

An enjoyable hike. There’s a few dips and elevations but could be achievable by most. Bring water for hot days. Most of the track is covered and the reservoir is beautiful to look at.

Giving this place a 5 because it was so peaceful and serene. The hike wasn’t too hard, only a few steep hills to climb. Most of the track is also quite narrow too. Going in the afternoon also provided beautiful sunset views over the reservoir. nice after a half day at work 
