Canyon Lookout, Blackfellows Falls, and Poondahra Falls via Twin Falls Circuit is a 3.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Springbrook, Queensland, Australia that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round.
This is a great, diverse nature walk through forest and past waterfalls. Some parts of the path are quite narrow and close to the edge so be mindful where you tread.
Trail was a beautiful introduction to Springbrook National Park. The waterfalls were spectacular and the views of The Valley and beyond to the Gold Coast sensational. Lots of fellow walkers on this nice Easter long weekend near the falls but other parts were people-free. The trees and vines are an amazing tribute to ancient Australia. Next time we’ll do the 14.5km circuit walk but this one was just right for now.
Great hike! Be sure to take the lower of the two paths after Blackfellows Falls to avoid going off route.
Great hike. Watch out for leeches if you do it in the pouring rain as we did.
A really nice walk and if done with the Warrie Loop will be 14kms. Beautiful scenery and great views. Highly recommended.
really nice walk but a bit boring to do the same route back. prefer loops/circuits
Very easy and straight forward walk that doesn’t consist of any climbing or that of such. Easy trail to follow. Gets very dark in some places due to the shadow of the mountain and the dense forest.
