Did this with my 3 yr old on my back and a 11 yr old Son leading the way. It was harder then I anticipated. I assumed being at the top of the red arrow it would be a fairly easy walk around the top of the mountain . We managed it in 3 hours from the start of the red arrow and back. Views weren’t anything spectacular so wouldn’t bother with the lookout personally. Can see the same views from the top of the red arrow pretty much except for out towards Redlynch obviously but it was a nice rest point and signing the book in the little box was a fun way of marking our efforts. I’d maybe do it again solo to challenge myself.

nice trail through the rainforest, very much enjoyed the walk. Took us 2hrs to finish starting and finishing at Red arrow and that was going at a steady pace.

Nice trail. Difficult footing in some areas. View from top isn’t the best. Winds through a very low (minimalist) stream.

Beautiful hike. Saw some monitors and a pademelon. A bit rooty, well shaded, view is so so.

Loved this beautiful track. I was lucky to see some amazing wildlife, pademelons included. The hike took about two hours return.

Really great hike that's very close to Cairns. I don't have a car so I walked to the trailhead. It was my first time in a tropical rainforest. The only reason I don't rate it a 5 is bc there's lots of noise pollution from the airport with planes continually landing or taking off.

Really nice walk good variety of rainforest, nice views at the top, thought the descent was a bit rough and a bit tough on the knee’s. Take water and wear appropriate footwear!

A classic! Try completing this in the wet you get a totally different walk with all the water falls and rain but be careful as it does become slippery!
