Fantastic hike, great views of the airport , always see wild life , bush turkeys-wallabies -even seen a few little wild bores . The blue arrow is 95% in the shade, under the tree tops, also blue arrow is not maintained to the likes of the yellow or red arrow . But overall a great afternoon hike.
Did this with my 3 yr old on my back and a 11 yr old Son leading the way. It was harder then I anticipated. I assumed being at the top of the red arrow it would be a fairly easy walk around the top of the mountain . We managed it in 3 hours from the start of the red arrow and back. Views weren’t anything spectacular so wouldn’t bother with the lookout personally. Can see the same views from the top of the red arrow pretty much except for out towards Redlynch obviously but it was a nice rest point and signing the book in the little box was a fun way of marking our efforts. I’d maybe do it again solo to challenge myself.
bonne randonnée au départ du jardin botanique pour notre part prévoyez beaucoup d'eau dommage pour le bruits des avions omniprésent dû à l'aéroport de Cairns
Really great hike that's very close to Cairns. I don't have a car so I walked to the trailhead. It was my first time in a tropical rainforest. The only reason I don't rate it a 5 is bc there's lots of noise pollution from the airport with planes continually landing or taking off.
so much fun! i’ll have to come back when the water level is higher to see the streams
