This is definitely a bang for buck hike. What if lacks in distance it makes up for in intensity and views. A well worth short hike to get the heart pumping.

Such a great little hike. A little harder at the end with some scurrying up rocks, but an amazing end result with beautiful views of the Mac Ranges and little old Alice!

Awesome trail. Quite a bit of a climb at the top. Some may find it a bit scary. Best to do early and take your fly-net!!!

Really nice walk to do for a sunrise, the walk is not so easy... at the end you need to climb the rocks for example. Take good shoes and water. The view really really worth it !

Great trail, my kids love to test themselves on how fast they can get up and back.

A decent walk. Initially I was worried about the lack of signage, this being an unmanaged trail; however the trails are well-trodden and they were relatively easy to pick out. A number of people have mentioned the scramble to the top (climbing up rocks), this shouldn't be underestimated. Perhaps give this hike a miss if heights aren't your strength, but if you're ok with heights and are mobile, the views are very worthwhile from the top (glimpses of town, Pine Gap, sewerage treatment areas, the ranges). I did it around sunrise and there were at least 8 others ahead of me. Overall, very memorable!

Nice short walk, took approx 3.5 hours with a lengthy stop at the top to enjoy the view. Nice scramble at the top which may not be suitable for timid kids or people with limited mobility. Otherwise would highly recommend.

Excellent views from the top, well worth the climb. I continued on past the trig point, to about 1km before the gap, and made my way down the south side then walked back to the Stuart Hwy. A good 14km hike!
