Wentworth Falls Lake is a 2.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Wentworth, New South Wales, Australia that features a river and is good for all skill levels. With easy parking, this loop of Wentworth Falls Lake is a leisurely trail popular with walkers and perfect for observing plenty of birdlife and taking in the native bushland at one of the picnic areas. The area features sandstone sculptures made by local sculptors of plants native to the bioregion and placed nearby the living plant to which they relate.
A very pretty location...pretty much what you'd expect a mountain lake to look like. I suggest doing this loop anti clockwise, simply because there aren't any sign posts on the other side and its easier to navigate the loop this way. Public toilets are available and it gets very busy during the day. The last half of this loop is a little tricky to navigate as there are no signs. You merge onto Banksia Rd a few times and then head back into the bushland. After emerging a final time, you need to follow Banksia Rd until you hit the causeway and the re-entry track is just before it on the left. Follow this through and you will end up in Sinclair Rd again and can walk back to your car. Some of the bushtrack gets very soggy after rain.
