Loved this hike. Took us about 2.5 hours. Beautiful scenery and plenty of beautiful pics can be taken.

This track is really beautiful down by the water but the fire trail is quite boring.

Easy walk and only some staircases. Direction clear

Beautiful natural bush with well preserved diverse ecosystems - mangroves, rainforest, eucalyptus bush with huge red gums and sandstone caves and rocky outcrops, abundant with native animals. Aboriginal stone carvings in some areas.

Great little loop track - really pretty beside the river. Keep an eye on the map for the turning points as there’s no trail signage in some parts

I am new to trail running and found this loop enjoyable. I will do it again but go on the opposite direction. I think it would be better to start by heading down the Bobbin Head track (firetrail) which is mostly downhill in this direction. But perhaps I am just unfit.

This is a really great loop track. We went along the first half by riverside, it has beautiful view and friendly animals. After had lunch at cafe. The way back is just a perfectly easy and simple direct way back. Notes if your car is parked at Sphinx memorial, make sure you came back before gate close which is 5:30pm

Great, little trail. Nothing too hard, there are a fair amount of stairs - just enough to work up a sweat. Great views and bush to look around in. Saw a few goannas too. Entry to the Sphinx car park requires a $12 entry fee. Or you can park up on Bobbin Head rd and walk the 350m down to the trail start.

We got lost twice as there was no sign. It’s a good waking trail

This is a good workout for me. I like to take overseas guests on it, if they like nature and walking. It is quite pretty with a lot of variation in landscape. You can have coffee down at Bobbin Head Inn (over the bridge near the boats) Sometimes we meet there for a burger and get a lift back, missing the horse trail. This works if you have someone willing to drive down. If you go up the horse trail you can try following the pipeline to cut through the zig zag. At first going up is hardish but eventually it is a long flat walk to finish.

Starting at the sphinx, the steep decline is a challenging ascent, making sure not to step on the wrong stone or branch. The steps take you down to a breathtaking view of the river, where the path leads you to the marine. The path is covered with small stones, so beware the ankles. The second part of the track is the fire trail, which is a bit less spectacular, but is a great way to recover after the steep climb. Had tons of fun while doing this run, will do it again!

Part of this is beautiful, part very boring. Don't do the loop, do an in and back along the river. The top part of a boring fire trail with no view.

Nice track - we did the Warrimoo track first up to Bobbin Head had lunch at the Galley eatery and came back down the Bobbin Head track. It meant we went down the stairs instead of up and got the dull dirt track at the end, so suggest you do it the other way round!

Great walk with lots of goannas and a fab lunch on the water at the Eatery at Bobbin Head. Took the Bobbin Head trail down and Warimoo back.

Decided to go clockwise getting the dull dirt track out of the way first. When we descended on the marina and the park the views were lovely. We stopped here for lunch. There's a cafe and Bobbin in if you'd like a bite and a drink. The second half of the track is scenic and along the water. Final ascend to the sphinx is a few stairs. Takes about 20 min.

A beautiful day. I went the reverse direction down Sphinx trail with a stop at the marina cafe for a cappucino and brunch before going back up Warrimoo. The entry fee is $12 which you can avoid by parking on the side of the road before the gate. The trail head is within easy walking distance from the road.
