Beautiful views of Wentworth Falls. You start at the top and make your way down to the bottom of the falls. We stopped there and turned around (at the bottom) because we saw more stairs and weren’t keen on exhausting ourselves completely! Stairs down were a workout and we wanted to hit a few other trails in the park that day.

Great hike, but my tracker clocked almost 10 km. The loop is definitely not 5.5km. It's also marked as moderate which I would argue with, my knee almost buckled down at the end of the hike as there are hundreds of, often super steep, steps to climb. Definitely worth exploring just be prepared for a longer and harder hike than indicated. Also with the exception of the falls themselves, that were quite crowded, the rest of the track is deserted so you can really enjoy the nature without hordes of people everywhere.

the national pass is closed, but you can still do Wentworth pass and connect the loop back

Such a beautiful walk filled with lots of waterfalls along the way. It does have a few little creek crossings and a couple areas not clearly marked. If your a keen hiker I would 100% recommend this walk. Just make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes as some of the creek crossings are a bit slippery!

Awesome trail with stunning views and a waterfall on the way.

The track was closed because of rock fall danger.

Very beautiful. Can't remember the details as it was in 2016 - did the area, and it was worth going! I have nice pictures from there :) Accessible by train too if you didn't get a car

Absolutely amazing! Apparently there was quite a bit of rain last week and we saw more waterfalls than I've ever seen on a hike. Add into that the magnificent scenery with cliffs and valleys and overlooks and this is one of our best hikes ever. We went from the conservation hut along the national pass trail to Wentworth Falls then went into the town along the Charles Darwin trail which was a very relaxing end to our trip and puts you a block away from the train station. The steep climb up at the end was tough but very safe. Just take your time and rest when needed and it will be no problem. .

Great trail, however I would suggest that its more than moderate difficulty as it has some extremely steep stairs and paths. Especially down to the Empress Falls. The views are fabulous though so well worth the effort.
