The Threlfall Track at Gara Gorge in the Oxley Wild Rivers NP is an easy, informative walk with great glimpses of the river and gorge. The walk follows the remnants of the plume of a long defunct hydro-electric system. The history of this system is well documented with signage along the track. The higher portion of the track is through open woodland that was once farm land while the lower section meanders along the upper edge of the gorge. Wildlife that can be seen on this walk included eastern grey kangaroos, a swamp wallaby and woodland birds.

Great short walk with gorge and waterfall views and a bit of history along the way.
