A really nice walk, some areas have fallen trees you need to duck under or walk off the track for.

You need to walk off the main track to go down to the creeks and waterfall, National Parks say it’s 5.5km loop, but they lie! It’s 5.5km to the waterfall and a further 2.2 kms to reach the car park/complete the loop.

There is not really any place that is good for kids to sit down when tired during the trek. (But I took my three month old daughter so she didn’t have to walk). Roots can be VERY slippery and a few of them act as steps so please be careful.

Dirt, single lane road with some areas hard to get cars coming the opposite way past. Two cattle grids to drive over. Cattle may sometimes be on road too.

WATCH OUT FOR LEACHES

Nice toilets at the Dorrigo National Park Info Centre.
