Robertson Knoll Track is a 1.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Sutherland, New South Wales, Australia that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round.
This track starts at the picturesque Audley and heads up to the top of the hill overlooking the vast tracts of the Royal National Park. Look out for loads of variegated fairy-wrens and other small birds, and if you're lucky you might see lyre birds, yellow-tailed black cockatoos and maybe, in summer, goannas. After you descend, leave time for a coffee and cake at the Audley cafe, and commune with the wood ducks, black ducks and swamp hens!
Nice stroll in the National Park on defined walking trails. Nice views from top
This track is a delightful way to spend an hour, from the picturesque Audley up to the top of the hill overlooking the vast tracts of the Royal National Park. Look out for loads of variegated fairy wrens and other beaut small birds, and if you're lucky you might see lyre birds, yellow-tailed black cockatoos and maybe, in summer, goannas. I love this walk. Extend in a couple of directions if you have more time. After you descend, leave time for a coffee and cake at the Audley cafe, and commune with the wood ducks, black ducks and swamp hens!
