A short walk to a very beautiful (but busy) beach. Access is via well-marked from the large car park, or follow the coastline around (some rock scrambling required at high tide). Just before reaching the beach, a side-track leads to Governors Head, from where there are views across to Bowen Island.

A very beautiful beach - but expect a few people here in summer. The short walk to Governors Head is worth the effort, for some nice views. Hard to imagine this was the site of a proposed nuclear power station!
