This should be a classic hike. Start at Rehabilitation Hospital at Thirroul , up sublime point track, along the escarpment forest track northwards, down the Wodi wodi track at Stanwell Park ,along Lawrence Hargrave Drive ,past iconic Seacliff Bridge back to Thirroul. Honestly this hike has it all,Cliff views, forests and beach .Doesn't get much better.
Illawarra escarpment via Woddi Woddi track, Forest Path & Sublime Point Great walk with escarpment and costal views We did a point to point walk by arranging a car swap I have done this walk in both directions but found walking from Sublime Point the easiest eliminating the climb on to the escarpment
Excellent walk. Not always clearly signposted and quite a few trees down due to recent weather. A variety of terrains from quite steep climbs to meandering bush tracks with a few little creeks to cross here and there. Beautiful scenery and not too busy.
Did the walk from Sublime point to the start of the Wodi Wodi track. Weather was perfect a couple of options for photo & breaks along the way. Certainly the path less taken, passed 6 people going the other way. Passes through different types of vegetation areas & some good bird spotting if keep an ear & an eye out.
