Right from the start it’s worth knowing that more than 50% of this walk is on well formed gravel roads with tourist traffic. We started at Echo Point car park and headed in an anti clockwise direction. Essentially you’ll see the same canyon for the first half of the walk. Fairy Bower Falls are very small but still worth the steepish walk in. We took the trail out to the main car park then onto the Erith Coal Mine track and back to Echo Point on the road....long, dusty and uninspiring. This track might be best done on a bike with a few short walks to the lookouts. Very minimal traffic on the tracks. Lots of fire damage still evident from the 2019/20 fires that heavily impacted Morton NP.

It was misty with spots of light rain. Gave it a magical feel! Fire damage still evident, but contrasts beautifully with lush growth from a rainy season. Beautiful (misty) views

Great walk. A bit longer than the map as part of fairy bower walk is closed so you need to go all the way out to the road again at the moment. But beautiful scenery, even after the fires.

First to Review

Nice easy trails from central parking lot. Echo Point is along the road but lots of walkers/runners along the way. Some trails closed due to bushfire damage but these 3 still open and nice easy walks. Toilets and picnic tables for lunch by the parking lot.
