Marions Way and Coomie's Walk Loop is a 4.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Currarong, New South Wales, Australia that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and bird watching. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
A scenic coastal loop with plenty of lookouts and small isolated beaches to explore or stop at along the way.
Nice easy walk & not 2 much climbing, a bit wet in parts, after recent heavy rains Did the walk in a anti-clockwise direction & the fish & chips shop at Currarong is good value 4 money after the walk.
Diverse trail. Loved the fern forest. Rocky section was full of sun-bathing snakes, as to be expected but be aware. Lots of spiders webs too!
On the southern section of the walk care must be taken in following the orange signs (where they exist) or checking your location in relation to the GPX track on your device. Criss-crossing paths make it easy to wander off-track. I did this a couple of times. Southern section: very few views above vegetation. Northern section: the highlights are here, along side-tracks to Beecroft Headland, Mermaids Inlet, Gosangs Tunnel and the wreckage remains of SS Merimbula. Whole track: some sections quite muddy
Lovely to watch sunrise through Gosangs Tunnel. Nice trail with lots of small beaches/coves to see along the way
