Stunning views across the entire area. Track is well marked an 'paved' most of the way. Track restoration in progress in some sections (2019). Stairs provide easy access to steep sections. Be prepared for conditions to change quickly and take food, water.

Beautiful walk, everyone should do this walk once in their life. Right up there possibly even better than Great Ocean Walk, Weather conditions can get extreme even in the middle of summer.

Went out in late November and there was still soo much snow. Came prepared for a summer walk and ended up waking through knee deep know for half the walk! Hard with the snow but great fun! Well worth the trek up Australia’s highest hill!

I recommend doing it when there’s not soo much snow or come prepared with snow shoes.

Views in all directions, easy to do over 2 days. Don’t be fooled by the weather, it’ll be 18 degrees during the day and burn your scalp then drop below 0 at night even in January. Add in Mt Twynam as a side track to make it Australians 3 highest.
