An easy grade 1 walk with a raised walking platform to the waterfalls. Beautiful scenery
Short and easy walk along a trail and a raised platform. Beautiful view especially after some rain. Very easy to hop off the platform and make your way to the top of the falls. Go across the top to the other side and you can get about halfway down the falls where you can get beautiful close up photos.
Quick little walk to see the waterfall. Starts across from Darkes Orchard, perfect to grab some fresh fruits and snacks.
Cute little walk. Very family friendly, nice little spot to look at the falls at the end. Can definitely take kids
I found some of the photos of this trail to be a bit misleading. It is definitely an easy trail that kids can get to as it starts on a fairly easy dirt track that then switches to a proper walkway to the lookout, but some of the photos imply there’s a way you can get access to the top of the waterfall and below safely which isn’t necessarily the case. Point is, the walk to the lookout is easy and has a nice view, but if you’re planning on reaching the actual waterfall I wouldn’t recommend that to people who have kids or aren’t sure-footed. We had a great time there though, it was a beautiful day and the waterfall was so peaceful.
Great little walk, good as an introductory walk or to take with young kids. There is an apple orchard opposite the start/finish point that has a shop front, grab some fresh fruit before U start, or when U finish. They also have a good apple cider & mead beer there as well..
Easy quick walk with a great reward at the end. Falls are pretty. Great walk for little kids
Great family walk, especially with a toddler. Short walk on a path to the lookout, and given there has been little rainfall, she was easily able to take her shoes off and walk around the rocks and puddles on top of the falls. Only reason for not rating it 5 stars is that I prefer natural trails rather than a walkway but it does make for a very easy walk. Great afternoon with our little family- we’ll definitely be back!
