The Laurieton Track is a demanding one way walk through a tall eucalyptus forest. The track is interspersed with magnificent stands of grass trees, burrawang (cycads), tree ferns and bangalow palms. The track joins the 'switchback' or 'top' track to form a continuous link to the North Brother lookout, with its panoramic views of the Camden Haven Inlet. Keep an eye out for koalas on the summit. You can undertake the walk one way with a vehicle waiting at either the summit or in Laurieton. The track head at the Laurieton end is at the end of Laurie Street. In the warmer months, this strenuous walk is best done early or late in the day. NPWS grades this track 'difficult', with the switchback section being moderate.

A great short but strenuous walk. The Laurieton Track features a variety of vegetation types including sub tropical rainforest. The views at the end are the best on the NSW coast.
