This is a great family friendly track that will make you feel like you’re out of the city even though you’re right in it! There is plenty of shade and light breezes accompanied by wildlife like ducks and bush turkeys. There are some great picnic spots along the route, even a cafe.

We parked around Killara so we didn’t have to pay to enter the park. It’s best to wear trail running or trekking shoes if possible. Little crowded in some areas and you can Hear traffic in some parts. But a fun walk very close to lane cove/Chatswood.

first half was moderate whereas the second half is easy. takes about 3 to 3.5 hours. The last part of the walk needs to cross a flooded stream without signs. very difficult to cross. The off route feature of the app is very useful The trail is not closed any more

A lot of trail closed off due to flood damage. It’s passable though.

Not bad for a short hike. It should categorized easy (not moderate). Would be best for trail running.

Lovely trail, not too easy not too hard. Not too boring neither. Perfect for a Sunday walk. I will definitely do that one again

What an amazing walk. Beautiful views. Pretty easy, but does involve bits of poorly maintained track on the Great North Walk side of the loop (tip: thanks to whoever has etched out arrows in the rocks there. Did help where we almost went off trail).
