Great hike. Took us 4hours. A few beautiful lookouts and a great view of Brooklyn. The last 1km into Brooklyn is challenging because it’s very steep and concrete.

The first part from Cowan station is awesome, once you hit the fire trail it's a bit boring

I couldn’t record due to low battery but it’s a great hike definitely go from Cowan to Brooklyn though!

I love the challenge on this track. Different terrain. March2019. I did this track on a wet/rainy/soaking weather. Up and down and climbing through rocks. The first part i get excited because of the different terrain. Climbing is challenging in this part. You thought you've climbed enough already but there are more. After you did the Jerusalem track it gets boring because it's pretty much flat and rocky all the way to Brooklyn. Overall is great. Scenery is beautiful, wildlife not much but I did get leech because Im wearing short on a rainy day.

Another beautiful piece of our city’s nature. Moderate track. Great to have a beer at the pub in Brooklyn before training back to Cowan

First half is definitely more interesting than the second. Would have enjoyed more as a trail run but hiked with my 2.5 month old bubba. Not the greatest hike to do with a carrier

Very nice little trail with lots of elevation change. This trail has the option of extending the walk by several kilometres if you choose to also hike the Taffy’s rock loop. Fantastic views on the decent into Brooklyn, a nice swimming area with a jump rock at Jerusalem Bay, and public transport on both ends of the walk.

The first part down to Jerusalem Bay is spectacular, but thereafter it's a bit tedious.

Sensational walk with spectacular views from the Cowan end

This is one of our favourite walks. The reason is because we walk from Cowan to the service road and back to Cowan and don’t have to worry about catching the train

This took us 3 1/2 hours to complete. It was a great track with some steep incline and steep declines, as long as you are fit and healthy it should be fine. There are some beautiful viewing vantage points. The second half of the Trail has some longer flat walks. Don’t forget to stop and take in the views when you see them. If you’re doing the hike on the weekend and finish at Brooklyn make sure you look up the train or bus schedule when we did it the trains were not running on weekends however the buses were coming every 30 minutes to take you back to Cowan . All in all a beautiful hike with good views and variety.

The first half is incredible with amazing views and steep challenging ascents, but the second half... although had some nice views, got very boring as it was just an off-road for vehicles. Definitely worth it though!

Started at Cowan. Nice walk to start with then it gets steep and the uphills begin. Amazing challenge. The last hour of it dragged on for a bit till u get to the downhill part that wakes u up. Easy walk to the station afterwards. Sings are everywhere so u can’t get lost. Overall i loved this walk. Took us just under 4 hours . We stopped for pics .

This is my go to walk/hike on weekends if I don’t have any other walk to do as it’s close by :)

Awesome walk with some beautiful swimming holes along the way. Easy to get to and from on the train and a hard enough walk to test the legs.

Great trail for a long point to point walk. Well traveled and marked. Bring your own supplies. Easily accessible via train (make sure to look at the schedule ahead of time)

Jerusalem bay is a spectacular sight on a sunny day. Leave time to have a swim on the warmer days. The walk has some great views. Climbing out of Jerusalem bay isn't for the faint hearted but we'll worth it.
